    Overview

    With an unobstructed high intensity die, the Klaran WD UVC LED is more cost-effective than UV lamps and the enabling UV source for reactors in consumer and commercial water. Using Klaran point source reactor design methods, maintenance-free long life UV disinfection brings differentiated water hygiene and performance claims to purifiers and appliances.


    Klaran WD is purpose built with no quartz lid and low thermal resistance to create reactor designs with superior UV intensity inside the chamber. Effective in both diffuse chamber and collimated beam reactor designs, Klaran WD’s point source UV flexibly scales cost competitive reactor design performances from 99.9 percent E. coli at 0.4 liters per minute to NSF A at 10 gallons per minute. Designers can use Klaran WD UVC LEDs in their unique designs immediately, or consult with our Applications Engineering team to leverage our existing, market-proven reactor design methods.
